The history of Daleiyu

Day 1. Let me give you a brief history about Daleiyu. It's the pinyin for "大雷雨", sounds like "大女儿" in Cantonese. My dad's family originally came from Canton Province in China, though Cantonese was never the 'official' language in the family. Since I am the eldest daughter in the family, that became my nickname, naturally. Having this blog named "dalieyu", brings back all the fond memories.....
